First Option: After landing at the airport in the morning (only), take a taxi to the “muellecito” (little dock) at Bar Samoa. There is a water ferry service that runs to Zancudo at 12 noon daily. The cost is 2000 colones or about $4 USD per person. The travel time is approximately 35 minutes. Depending on tide levels, the taxi will either take you through the old banana company canals or across the Golfo Dulce.

Second Option: You may hire a private water taxi either through a local service here in Zancudo, (we will make the arrangements for you) for a cost of approximately $15 per person ($30 minimum), or you can hire a private water taxi at the public dock behind the Golfito Tourist Office (next to the Internet Café). This option is cheaper with groups, as it may cost 12,000 colones for a single person or the same amount for 3 or 4 people.
